While God’s Country can arrange an outdoor adventure experience for your group or family in numerous locations all over the Southeast, we are partial. We are passionate about introducing you to the area we call God’s Country- the Uwharrie Lakes Region. The Uwharrie Mountains are situated in the Piedmont, northeast of Charlotte. The Uwharries are so conveniently located, that adventurists from Charlotte, Concord, Kannapolis, Asheboro, Greensboro, and Winston Salem can be at their destination in an hour or less.

Our Most Popular Package
Our most popular package is our team building program- the Survivor Challenge.   Just like on the hit reality TV show, your group will be divided into two teams, or tribes.  For the duration of the challenge, the two tribes will compete against one another.  As the group leader, your little secret will be that competition is not the main point!  The idea is to create intensely memorable experiences for your group.  Your group will leave closer to each other than when they arrived.  Most group leaders tell us that they hear participants retelling the stories created during their Survivor Challenge months and even years later.  Click here to learn more about the Survivor Challenge.

Whitewater Rafting Packages
If your group is ready to experience the thrill of whitewater rafting, we are ready to arrange it all for you. God’s Country Outfitters arranges trips to the New, the Ocoee, and the Nantahala Rivers. Your groups will be housed in beautiful newly constructed log cabins. We provide facilities for your group meetings and will lead your teaching and worship sessions if you desire. While there your group can also enjoy other outdoor adventure activities such as paintball, horseback riding, mountain biking, rappelling, caving, and a high ropes course. Again, all your meals are provided.

Skiing Packages
What if someone could arrange a winter ski retreat for your group, handle all of the lodging, meals, ski rental equipment, and lift tickets, and do it cheaper than you could by arranging it yourself? That is exactly what we do. We have the capability to coordinate your winter ski retreat to almost anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.

If you have a youth group that really enjoys the large group atmosphere, we can book you on one of our youth retreats. We work with a youth worship organization called That Youth Thing, Inc.
